Kitsilano

We had a fantastic time with our friend Cheryl, who showed us around Kitsilano, another area of Vancouver.

Tall totem pole in Kitsilano

We went on plenty of walks down quiet, leafy neighborhood sidewalks.

Blue Novas, and green houses with white picket fences.

We'd walk through Kits Park, another peaceful spot, just about every day on our way to my favorite breakfast spot, the King's Head.

People enjoying the warmth of the midday sun's rays.

There's an amazing salt-water pool right next to the shore. It's 143 meters long and the wading area is a gentle slope into the deeper part of the pool. There's even a grassy mound at one end where people can lay and sun themselves.

The water was so clear! People were swimming, kayaking, sailing and doing whatever else they could to enjoy the day to the fullest.

View of the downtown area from Kits Park.

A beautiful end to a perfect day.

I like this photo. I've seen the sunrise on A-Li Shan. It was amazing even the harsh light hurt my eyes a little. But this photo of sunset, it makes me feel peaceful. Especially, the sun shined on the water. It just looked like a picture (or a postcard), it seemd not real.
