These photos were taken on trips to Thailand between 2003 and 2008. Vibrant in the past as well as in modern times, Thailand is an amazing country and a fantastic place to visit. We have fond memories of the times we've spent in Thailand! These first photos are of Wat Phra Kaew (The Temple of the Emerald Buddha) - a must see while in Bangkok.
Most of the temple is covered with a mosaic of tiny mirrors that glitter as you walk by. This can only be experienced by being there, and is lost in these photos.
It's truly one of the most visually stunning buildings we've ever seen in all our travels.
